Austin McKinley is an award-winning cartoonist, author, and filmmaker whose career spans comics, books, film, and video games. He has created and illustrated numerous graphic novels including RIOT FORCE: TOOLS OF THE RICH and multiple volumes of TALES OF MR. RHEE (Source Point Press)—and written acclaimed prose works such as STELLARATOR and BURNING DOWN. McKinley has directed and produced shorts including Quicklime and Life in a Glass House, and contributed to documentaries and game projects including THE NEW 8-BIT HEROES. Almost every aspect of Dr. Christina Blanch’s world revolves around comic books. She has written comics such as GOOD BOY, THE DAMNATION OF CHARLIE WORMWOOD, TALES FROM THE CRYPT, and WE EAT GODS among others. She also edits comic books, moderates panels at comic conventions across the country, and courses she has taught such as “Gender through Comics” once enrolled over 7,000 students online. She owns AW YEAH COMICS in Muncie, Indiana and hosts a weekly comic sales called “What We Do in the Comic Shop” which was featured in an AP article. When not at her comic shop, which is rare, she is with Jeff and their dogs or hanging with her favorites, Maverick, Malcolm, and Magnolia.

Joshua Werner is an author, illustrator, and actor, as well as the co-founder of the publishing company Source Point Press, where he now serves as Chief Creative Officer. As a writer, he has written such books and comics as RAMPANT, ADORATION FOR THE DEAD, THE WINCHESTER MYSTERY HOUSE, MURDER BY MAIL, CROSSBONE SKULLY, and many others. Through his historical content curation and restoration work, he has released several publications in the CLASSIC PULP and FRANTIC line of products. Joshua Ross has been working in the comic book industry for over 20 years with publishers such as Image Comics, Devil’s Due, and Source Point Press. His 365-page creative nonfiction graphic novel LEFT TURNS was published by Source Point Press and received a review in Publisher’s Weekly. He was the original artist of the hit ongoing comic TALES OF MR. RHEE and illustrated both LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT: THE OFFICIAL GRAPHIC NOVEL ADAPTATION with Chaney Entertainment and RSVP: E.S.P. with Josh Malerman. LES LINDON GARNER
Les Lindon Garner began his career as an artist, beginning as a wide-eyed 19-year-old from Appalachia, and is now a full-time comic book illustrator who also works in 3-D modeling, animation, advertising, gaming, film, music, and software development, largely through his creation of Sixus1 Media, which serves as a hub for freelance artwork. His comic work includes HOMESTEAD (Source Point Press), PROMETHEUS IN CHAINS (Red 5 Comics), REIGN OF DRACULA (Thorny Comics), and BRIDES (Resolute Bliss). Nandor Fox Shaffer is an award-winning comic book creator and writer of titles such as SEASONS, LIFELINE, MAN-CHILD, and THE FABLED OFFERING. He published his first graphic novel at the age of twenty and has raised nearly $50,000 crowdfunding his own projects. Ron Chaney is the president and CEO of Chaney Entertainment Inc. The Company was formed to preserve and perpetuate the family history. Ron initiated two United States Postal Service campaigns, and worked with Universal Studios in licensing NIL rights. Ron is married to Linda, has three children, Jennifer, Jaclynn and Creighton, two grandchildren Audrey and Aidan, and resides in the Palm Springs, California area. Ron is a writer, producer and actor. He loves to entertain with projects that his family made famous. WELLS THOMPSON
Wells Thompson (he/him) is an independent comic book writer and editor best known for his series Frankenstein the Unconquered (Action/Horror), The Catskin and the Rose (Sapphic Romance/Fantasy), and the Ringo Award-nominated Smut (Adult Slice of Life/Comedy) and definitely not known for sticking to any one genre. Originally from Little Rock, AR, Wells now resides in Oak Park, IL, with his wife, Brianna, and way too many cats.
Having graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2015, Wells brought his passion for storytelling and artistic expression into a workforce that was determined to grind that out of him. Z.M. Thomas is a Dakota Mdewakanton Sioux comic creator out of St. Paul, Minnesota, who’s been raising hell in the indie comic scene since 2004 with Trepidation Comics. He cut his teeth on the horror genre with ECHOES OF DAWN and CONTAGION before venturing into satire with ROE VS. ABE and the viral hit comic series THE BIBLE 2.
